Really, What is Network Marketing?


As defined by Wikipedia the internet best encyclopedia, "Network Marketing is a Multi-level marketing businesses function by enrolling unsalaried salespeople (also called by Multi Level Marketing companies as Distributors, Independent Business Owners, Franchise Owners, Sales Consultants, Consultants, Independent Agents, etc...) to sell products and at the same time earn additional sales commissions based on the sales of people enrolled into their down-line. A downline is an organization of people that includes direct recruits, recruits' recruits and so on".

It is a business model.

That is the best explanation that I have for it. Seems simple and to the point. It is very similar to a franchise business or most other business models. There can be multiple levels of people receiving royalties from one person's sales like with any other company. This is a legitimate business structure

It is Not one of those schemes:

  • pyramid
  • ponzi
  • get rich quick
  • a fraud.

However dishonest people have manipulated and exploited this system of doing business. Their greed and deceitfulness has tarnished the idea and now unfortunately especially on the Internet, it is considered a scam.

How can we fix that?

How can we change these misconceptions?

How can we make this business model an honest success story for everyone?

We probably can not fix it outright but we sure can help by:

Learning the true network marketing facts.

• Understanding how the system really works.

• Building honest relationships with our downline.

• Teaching the truth about success potential new recruits.

Most of all putting in hard work, perseverance and true commitment like we would at any other job or business is the best attitude for Multi-Level Marketing or Network Marketing success.

Frustrated marketers do something to ease your frustration.

I have written and read a lot about this problem in network marketing. It has now become a niche for a lot of business people trying to capitalize in network marketing some way or the other. It does not matter what a situation is if there is an opportunity to make money then their will be people exploiting it.

This is your opportunity to end your frustrations. If any body know about being frustrated network marketers it should be you the actual frustrated marketers. This is your opportunity to capitalize on something you are way to familiar with. To not join the revolution of frustrated network marketers is comparable to having someone come into your home cook your food eats it and leaves you in there hungry.

The renegade network marketer has a very simple model to follow. Ann Sieg has broken the code to make a fortune on the internet. They are making a fortune off the frustrated marketers plight with sale of the ebook. They are also making major leaps into helping marketers with the free ebook the 7 great lies of network marketing. This books talks about the frustrated marketers in every word. The approach may be different but the fact is they all leads to the same thing, money.

The main reason for frustration in network marketing is the lies. Lies told most times by so called upline or mentors who were trying to achieve that false hype, of becoming excessively rich in as little time as possible while doing almost nothing. The fact is there is no one ebook, website, marketing tool, or upline (also called Motivational Speaker) that is going to dig you out. Finding the right strategies are easier than you think. The problem is that all the solutions are within you and that you are the one that have to harvest them.If you are looking anywhere else you won't find them.

As I mentioned earlier the niche for frustrated network marketers is now a booming business targeting network marketing. There are a lot of people who tried and fail and want to try again. This is the chance for you to take action and feed the need. Write and post your experiences to prevent other people from falling in those same traps. Create websites and Blog post with the vital messages and information that other frustrated network marketers are looking for. True sincere messages always sell. Use this opportunity to introduce people to your business opportunity. You can even capitalize in other ways example affiliate marketing and or advertisement selling pay per click.

Building a business is not always easy but perseverance and determination sometimes conquer all obstacles. You will not succeed if you don't try. Going into business half way in half way out will never work. Always give a full sincere and honest attempt when starting a business or anything in life for that matter.

Once again, as frustrated marketers, people who has been burnt before in an MLM business, "a business they joined to help them out in the first place". People who were lied to by a greedy upline who probably had no clue themselves of the network marketing business. People who lost a lot of money on what turned out to be a scam.

Growing a home business with network marketing.

Starting a home business is easy, or affordable at least initially with network marketing. You do not need too much overhead. Most times you do not need storage since you can drop ship. Your office is already set up, which is in your home. For the most part you can do it all by yourself with a little help from a good mentor (upline). A lot of your stationary and advertising material are already prepared and handed to you. The process is also laid out and the system is already rolling. Time and effort are just a small part of the desired resources you need to start.

Growing a successful network marketing business needs a little more. You need commitment, patience, and off course time and a good sincere effort. With these minor and free resources available growing your business can be on the right track. You will also need some finance available to sustain your push forward. We all know that you must spend to make. I never figure that out I always say you make before you spend. In life it should be that way but in business you must spend first unfortunately. Where do you get the money to start? How can you spend money before you make it? Well… Which one came first the chicken or the egg? You decipher. That is the first test to becoming a businessperson.

Time is very important but it is something you can work around to suit your schedule. Making time for your business is not as delicate as most people think. You can find time from pulling your schedule together and working after your regular workday is done. We call that free time. I think that is the best way to start and keep your home business growing. Trying to make time during your regular schedule for your business is very difficult and most time unattainable. That actually is one of the reasons most network marketers fail. It is best to make time after your regular schedule workday is over. Most people today have a few second to spare during the day between work and home. For a single mom or even a stay at home mom that free time is impossible to find.

Pulling time between your daily duties is not productive especially if you have a job. Trying to work your business on lunch break is almost useless. There is never enough time to finish what you started besides you are only slaving your self. Everyone deserves a lunch break. Besides when you rush through to get finished on time you are most like to make mistakes. In network marketing mistakes can be very costly.

My advice and what seems to work for me best is to try to compress my day and get a little extra time towards the end. Before I go to bed I spend a few hours working on my business. That is the most relaxing time for me and I don’t feel pressure into finishing up. There is always tomorrow.

Once you get your business going and you can see the income potential then comes decision time. At this point you can choose to make more time by cutting off time from work. Since owning a home business ultimate goal is to get you off a regular job anyway. Cutting away time from work is the transition process to getting you to permanently stay and work your home business.

Growing a successful home business is the dream of most network marketers.
